Updating Prices by Percentage

The Amendment Details allows the user to apply a percentage change to multiple prices. This will affect all the parts displayed after a filter is applied.

The percentage required is typed into the Amend Prices by box. If a positive number is entered, the prices will increase. If a negative number is entered, the prices will decrease by the selected percentage.

The Price(s) to Amend can be set to All, Purchasing Cost, Selling Price or Standard Cost.

When the Apply to Grid button is selected, the prices will be updated accordingly for the parts displayed. The user must click Accept to save these changes.

Updating Prices Manually

If the user wishes to amend prices manually, the old price can be selected and deleted by using the Delete key on the keyboard. The new price can now be typed in its place. The Update check box must be ticked and the Accept button selected.
