Topic Last Edited 16/09/2019

The user can replace a sub-contract code with another sub-contract code if required. The user must go into the Tools menu at the top and select Replace Sub-Contract Code. The following screen will be displayed.

The first box displays the code that is to be replaced. The second box displays the new code that is replacing it.

In this example, a "Heat" sub-con code is being replaced with a "Cast" sub-con code.

The refresh command is selected, displaying a list of all Inventory with an operation involving the Heat sub-con code. The user can select the Works Orders tab to display all Works Orders with a Heat operation.

The user can select which part numbers and works orders are requiring change by checking the individual check boxes. If the user wishes to select all inventory, the check box at the top of the list can be checked.

If the user wishes to mark the original Sub-Contract Code as obsolete, this can be automatically changed by ticking the check box at the bottom of the menu.

The user can now view the Inventory or Works Orders where the changes should have taken place.
