This section displays to the administrator all users currently logged into the progress plus system. Information displayed includes what computer the user is logged into. progress plus has a security system that will lock a user if the user should quit or exit progress plus without using the appropriate buttons e.g. if the user should turn off their computer while the system is running or should End Task on progress plus this will result in the tables being locked for that user.
To clear any locks the administrator must choose the appropriate user by clicking on his or her name in the System Options Locking Form and then press the Clear Lock button on the bottom of this form. The administrator can choose to unlock a user by clicking onto the InSys lock type record for that user or perhaps clear a lock on a specific order e.g. Sales Order 159
The lock will then be cleared for the selected user and he or she will be able to log back into progress plus or access the required record.
