Press Release- Berkeley Myles to Deliver Customer Seminars

August 2009

Berkeley Myles will run a series of customer seminars throughout the UK during the coming months.

The Glasgow-based IT specialist has developed ProgressPlus production control software which enables manufacturing companies to streamline, automate and integrate the management and control of both shop floor production and administrative processes.

Key features of the system include its flexibility, robustness, ease of use and its ability to provide full traceability throughout the lifecycle of the production process.

Managing director Tony MacBride said: "At Berkeley Myles we aim to deliver a fast, responsive technical support service to our clients."

"Key elements of this service involve advising users on how to optimise the system for their individual needs and listening to feedback in order to develop our system and enhance the user experience."

"We value customer input very highly and we have decided to demonstrate our commitment to our clients during the economic downturn through a series of forums which will be delivered in UK regions during the coming months."

"The sessions will provide an insight into how to fully utilise the key features of the system to gain that crucial advantage against your competitors and will also give the opportunity to interact with other businesses in the region."

Peter McKenzie, Operations Manager of BRP Composites which supply components to the Formula 1 industry, attended a recent ProgressPlus seminar in Southampton. He said: "The seminar was very worthwhile. It was interesting to hear input from other users of ProgressPlus and to see that Berkeley Myles is keen to take on their views and continually develop & enhance the software at no extra cost."

The seminars are free of charge and have been developed to give existing users the opportunity to view latest features of the system, make suggestions for future enhancements and to network with other businesses using the system within their region.

Forums will take place in West Midlands and East Anglia in August and other events will be held in East Midlands, North East and Scotland during September and October.
